The UNAMA posted on Twitter that, schools and universities in Afghanistan will open in a month, but millions of Afghan women and girls are deprived of education.
UNAMA described the deprivation of Afghan women and girls from education as a violation of human rights and self-harm and asked the authorities of the Islamic Emirate to take action to protect their lives and future.
UNAMA had already asked the Islamic Emirate to reconsider the ban on the work and education of women and girls.
