Al Jazeera news channel has reported that 35,418 people have died due to the earthquake in Turkey so far.
Meanwhile, the Syrian government has announced that the number of earthquake victims in this country has reached 5,800.
At the same time, Antonio Guterres; The Secretary General of the United Nations has requested 397 million dollars in aid for the victims of the earthquake in Syria.
He says that this money will be used to provide humanitarian aid to about five million Syrians in the course of three months.
On Monday of last week, two earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.8 and 7.5 degrees occurred in the Turkish city of Kahramanmaras near the Syrian border, as a result of which thousands of buildings and residential houses were destroyed in both countries.
