These elections were supposed to be held in June, but according to members of the ruling party, due to the religious holidays in this month, the elections may be held a month earlier.
However, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said in a meeting in Bursa province that the Turkish presidential and parliamentary elections will be held on May 14th of this year.
If Turkey’s Supreme Election Council announces its readiness to hold presidential and parliamentary elections, Erdogan will officially announce the date of holding these elections on March 10 of this year.
