Roza Otunbayeva, the special representative of the United Nations Secretary-General in Afghanistan, said on Friday (13th January) at the meeting of the Security Council of this organization that banning the education of Afghan girls and women in domestic and foreign non-governmental organizations is a violation of human rights.
She also said that the ban on women’s cooperation with non-governmental organizations will severely harm children, women, and those who need urgent humanitarian aid in Afghanistan.
It should be mentioned that the United Nations Security Council held a meeting on Afghanistan on Friday (13th January) and more details about it have not yet been published.
