According to an announcement from Karzai’s press office, he has appreciated the position of the Al-Azhar Society, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the United Nations, and the countries of the world in supporting the right to education of Afghan youth.
Meanwhile, Karzai emphasized the importance of education for the growth, prosperity, and progress of human societies.
It should be noted that this week the Islamic Emirate suspended the education of girls in public and private universities until further notice.
This decision has provoked strong internal and external reactions.
