The 2022 World Cup began with the participation of 32 teams in eight groups on November 20th of this year, hosted by Qatar.
This is the last World Cup with the participation of 32 teams because according to the decision of FIFA, the next editions of this competition will be held with the participation of 48 teams from around the world.
