At the same time, the US special envoy posted that during this trip, he also discussed with Vikram Misri, Deputy National Security Advisor, and Arindam Bagchi, Spokesperson of the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, about the common interests of the two countries in Afghanistan.
Tom West traveled to Japan on the first of December and will visit the United Arab Emirates after India.
It should be noted that Hamid Karzai, the former president, and Mohammad Yaqub Mujahid, the Acting Minister of National Defense, have also visited the United Arab Emirates, but nothing has been said about the possibility of their meeting with Tom West.
