The US and China Presidents Met in Indonesia

After the three-hour meeting, US President Joe Biden said that China will not try to take over Taiwan militarily in the near future.

Meanwhile, referring to Russia’s attack on Ukraine, he said that the US and China believe that the use of nuclear weapons is unacceptable.

On the other hand, the presidents of China and the United States agreed that the talks between the two countries, with the visit of Anthony Blinken; Secretary of State of the United States to Beijing, will continue.

This is while, according to a White House official, William Burns, the head of the US intelligence agency, met with Sergei Naryshkin, the head of Russia’s foreign intelligence and service, in Turkey and talked about Moscow’s nuclear threats and the US prisoners in Russia.

According to the information from the White House, Burns warned about the consequences of using nuclear weapons in Russia.
