NATO Conducts Nuclear Military Exercise in Europe

Although this NATO nuclear weapons exercise is considered an annual exercise, considering the political tensions between Western countries and Russia, such exercises are considered sensitive.

According to the NATO air force command, this exercise was held with the participation of 14 countries and more than various 60 military planes.

According to him, refueling planes and fighter jets of the fourth and fifth generation will also participate in this maneuver, which started on October 17 and will continue until October 30.

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg announced on October 13 that this exercise was planned long ago and is supposed to ensure the security and effectiveness of NATO’s nuclear capabilities.

He added that ‘our message is clear, we are here to defend all our allies. ‘Deterrence is the way to prevent any attack on NATO allies and keep the peace.’

NATO is conducting such maneuvers in the region, as recently Russian warships with the ability to carry nuclear weapons had conducted maneuvers in the open waters in the region.
