Afghanistan’s Cricket team Qualified for Super 4 Stage of Twenty20 Asian Cricket Cup

Afghanistan’s national cricket team, after the victory against Bangladesh, entered the Super 4 stage of Twenty20 competitions of the Asia Cricket Cup.

Afghanistan’s Cricket team Qualified for Super 4 Stage of Twenty20 Asian Cricket Cup

In this match, which was held on Tuesday night (30 August) in the United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh batted first and set a target of 128 runs for Afghanistan in 20 overs.

Afghanistan reached this goal in the 19th over and defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets.

Najibullah Zadran shone well in the batting and scored 43 runs for Afghanistan in 17 balls.

On the other hand, Mujeeb-Alrahman, who removed three Bangladeshi players for 16 runs, was chosen as the best player of the match.

During the Super 4 stage, which will be held from the 3rd to the 9th of September, Afghanistan will compete with the other top three teams, and two teams will qualify for the final match of the Asian Cricket Cup.

It should be mentioned that Afghanistan won against Sri Lanka in its first group match in this tournament with a difference of eight wickets.
