COVID-19: Afghanistan Reports 22 New Cases

Afghanistan on Tuesday, December 7, reported 22 new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, bringing the nationwide case count to 157,445, official data shows.

Also, no patient has died of COVID-19 in the previous 24-hours period. The nationwide deaths stands at 7,317.

Health ministry’s data showed that coronavirus that 42 patients got better in the 24-hours period.

This pushed the total recoveries to 140,911.

Although COVID-19 infections has been at the lowest, officials ask residents to follow health measures.

Worldwide, more than 266.3 million people have been infected by the coronavirus, according to a NYT’s tally published on December 7.

The number of global deaths hit 5,260,338.
