Coronavirus in Afghanistan: 2 Deaths Registered

The coronavirus total infections hit 55,827 in Afghanistan after it recorded 24 more coronavirus cases over the last 24 hours.

Coronavirus in Afghanistan: 2 Deaths Registered

At least 24 people tested positive for the coronavirus pandemic within the past 24 hours, according to the health ministry’s data published Thursday.

The country lost two COVID-19 patient during the same period.

The new cases of infection were registered in Kabul, Kandahar and Helmand provinces.

The total deaths related to the disease has hit 2,449, according to ministry’s figures.

The toll of coronavirus recoveries has stood at 49,362.

Worldwide, at least 2,665,578 have died and more than 115 million have been infected since the start of an outbreak that first appeared in Wuhan, China, in early December.
