There is no official holiday on the Flag Day, but citizens all across the country organizes celebrations in a number of ways.
On the occasion of the day, Afghans are encouraged to fly their tricolor flag with a classical National Emblem in the center.
The celebration of Flag Day was officially recognized last year by the Afghan government.
