Last night (July 1) one dead and at least nine injured people were taken to hospital, said Dr. Nizamuddin Jalil, head of public health department in Balkh province, adding that four of the injured ones were in critical health condition.
Adel Shah Adel, a spokesman for the provincial police chief, confirmed the incident, adding a civilian was killed in the blasts while nine others, including four civilians and five military forces, were injured.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
