19 March (The Killid Group) – Afghan border police have seized several heavy and light weapons, according to officials.
In a statement released by the Afghan First Border Brigade in the east, the forces have seized eleven of AK-47 and fifteen pistols in a Suzuki-type vehicle during an operation in the Landi Khyber area of Momandra district.
Sources added that the driver of the car had fled the area but efforts were underway to arrest him.
Recently, there has been a number of arbitrary armed groups have increased concerns among the residents of Nangarhar province.
