Convoy of Afghan Security Forces Comes Under Attack: Media

(TKG) − On the second day of a week reduction in violence, a convoy of Afghan security forces came under attack of insurgents in Shah Wali Kot district of Kandahar province, officials told media.

Kandahar local authorities have reported that the incident took place in the Chenar area of Shah Wali Kot district on Sunday, but no casualties were left.

At the same time, according to officials, a vehicle was also blown up by a landmine in the same district, but there were no casualties.

So far, no insurgent group has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
