Officials in Ministry of Interior have, reportedly, said that 81 kilograms of drugs and two firearms have been seized in Badakhshan.
It was quoted in a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior as saying that Special Forces in cooperation with the Drug Enforcement Administration of Badakhshan Security Command carried out an operation in Ganda Cheshmah village of Argo district in Badakhshan, as a result of which 40 kilograms of heroin, 41 kilograms of opium and two AK-47 have been discovered and seized.
The statement added that no one was detained during the operation; however, efforts have been focused to arrest the perpetrators.
