GHAZNI (The Killid Group) – At least 35 Taliban insurgents, including two of their commanders, killed during an operation by Afghan security forces in Ghazni province, local authorities said.
Mohammad Arif Noori, spokesman for the Ghazni Governor, told The Killid the operation by Afghan forces were carried Monday night in Mangoor, Qara Bagh and Kulaghaj of central Ghazni province.
Mohammad Taher (known as Khaksar) and Ummar Khalid, Taliban commanders; Hemat, a finance officer and Malang, a recruiting officer for the group, including 10 Pakistani nationals were among killed, he added.
At least 12 Kalashnikovs, two rockets and a PK machine gun of the Taliban were seized during the operation.
Taliban immediately did not comment on the claim.
