BALKH (The Killid Group) – Afghan security forces carried several airstrikes and ground battles against the Taliban hideouts in Baitemor and Asyab Gurg district of Chatmal, killing at least six insurgents, local authorities said.
Nazar Khoda Pamiry, deputy spokesman for the 209th Shaheen Corps, told The Killid, “during this operation Monday night by Afghans security forces, six Taliban killed and further four wounded.”
“Afghan security forces nabbed two Taliban, and then have surrendered to the National Directorate of Security,” he added.
Meanwhile, forces discovered and defused three mines found in Bez Temorak district of Charbolak.
Afghan security forces and civilians did not suffer any casualties, according to Pamiry.
Taliban immediately did not comment on the incident.
