HELMAND (The Killid Group) – At least five Taliban, including their key commander, killed during an operation by Afghan security forces in Helmand province, local authorities said in a statement.
According to the statement released Sunday, Afghan security forces carried an operation in Nad Ali district of the province, killing at least five Taliban insurgents, including their key commander Noorul Heda.
Further three Taliban injured, including commander Bilal, the statement read.
Afghan security forces seized a motorcycle, two walkie-talkies and a number of arms and ammunitions during operation.
Taliban immediately did not comment on the incident.
