Key Taliban Commanders Killed in Faryab

FARYAB (The Killid Group) – Mullah Sarwar, a Taliban self-claimed district governor for Almar, and Mullah Qutbuddin, a field-commander of the Taliban, were killed including three of their members in an airstrike by Afghan forces in Faryab, local authorities said.

Jawed Bedar, spokesman for the Faryab Governor, told The Killid that Wednesday afternoon, a Taliban’s self-claimed district governor and red unit commander, including three members of the group, killed on their way to Almar district.

Meanwhile, in another clashes between the Afghan forces and the insurgents in Chaqmaq district of Pashtoon Kot, three armed Taliban killed and further one injured, he added. at least one Afghan force bear injuries.

The Taliban immediately did not comment on the incident.
