KABUL (The Killid Group) – At least four Afghan security forces were killed and further three wounded in a suicide attack nearing Army Unit base in southern part of Kabul, authorities confirmed.

Nasrat Rahimi, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior Affairs, said a suicide bomber detonated a vehicle-borne improvised explosive bomb in front of the Afghan National Army Commando Corps in Kabul, which killed four and wounded further three forces.

Meanwhile, Ministry of Defense denied claims that said clashes between the attackers and Afghan forces took place after the blast.

Taliban asserted responsibility for suicide attack, according to sources.

An Explosion rocked nearing a commando forces base in Rishkhor area of Kabul, the Ministry of Interior spokesman Nusrat Rahimi said.

The blast took place at around 12:50pm local time.

Clashes are ongoing between gunmen and Afghan security forces after the militant group attacked a commando forces base in Chahar Asiab district of Kabul.
