BAGHLAN (The Killid Group) – A Taliban self-proclaimed district governor for Baghlan Markazi (central) killed during an operation by Afghan forces, the 218th Pamir Corps said in a statement Thursday.
Aziz Haqyar, Taliban self-proclaimed district governor for Baghlan Markazi, including eight members of the group, killed during an airstrike by Afghan security forces Wednesday night, the statement said.
Meanwhile, Taliban claimed the group has seized a security base, named Shirkat (company), and a security post in Baghlan Markazi of the Baghlan province.
