URUZGAN (The Killid Group) Taliban raided the Khas Uruzgan dirstict in Uruzgan province Tuesday night, after carrying an explosion against police headquarter, local authorities said.

Mullah Abdul Samad, Commander of the Khas Uruzgan district, told The Killid, “last night (Tuesday), the Taliban initially carried two consecutive explosions via Humvee vehicles, and launched clashes against Afghan forces.”

At least four Afghan forces killed and further eight wounded, he added. One of their depots equipped with arms and ammunition have also been wrecked.

He fears the district may fall into the Taliban’s hand if they do not receive an immediate backup support from the forces.

Meanwhile, Zargi Obadi, secretary to Uruzgan Governor, said at least 13 Taliban killed during clashes.

Local authorities are attempting to deploy backup support as soon as they could, he added.

Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, saying a huge number of Afghan forces killed during clashes.
