KANDAHAR (The Killid Group) – At least two purported suicide bombers, who attempted to blow themselves at a wedding ceremony in Kandahar, wend off prematurely before they reached the target, local authorities said.
Bahir Ahmadi, spokesman for the Kandahar Governor, told The Killid, Monday night, the purported bombers were killed by their own explosives before they reach target at wedding ceremony in Mashgez district of Dand in the province.
He said no one, other than the bombers themselves, were killed and or injured, but an eyewitness said at least one child bore wound after the blast.
No group has immediately asserted responsibility for the attack.
