TAKHAR (The Killid Group) – Afghan security forces repelled at least three armed opposition groups attack against several districts in northern province of Takhar, local authorities said.
Mohmmad Jawad Hejri, Spokesman for the Takhar Governor, told The Killid, “these attacks were carried in Khowaja Ghar, Chah Ab and Ashkmash districts last night (Monday), which were driven away.”
At least 13 Taliban killed in clashes, he added.
Meanwhile, the Taliban claimed a number of Afghan forces were killed and or wounded during attacks the group carried against security forces in Chah Ab and Yangi Qala districts of Takhar province.
