PAKTIKA (The Killid Group) – At least 37 armed Taliban killed during an operation by Afghan security forces in Paktika-Paktia highway, Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement.
According to the statement released Wednesday, local security unit carried operation Tuesday in Paktika-Paktia highway, located in Zermat district, which killed at least 37 Taliban, including a key member. One further arrested by forces.
One PK machine gun, five Kalashnikovs, some explosives and five motorcycles have been seized by the forces, the statement read.
Meanwhile, at least one Afghan forces injured during clashes.
Taliban did not comment on the incident.
