KABUL (The Killid) – The Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah of the National Unity Government warns repeating 2014 presidential elections will be a disaster, for which Afghan people cannot compensate.
Abdullah speaking at a gathering on women’s awareness raising conference to participate in the presidential elections, with emphasizes it should not be traded with people’s votes, said “People will decide as to who has sacrificed for the previous presidential elections.”
He further said Afghan women has offered huge sacrifices to participate in the upcoming presidential elections in September, as their role and presence are vital.
Abdullah called on all government agencies to cooperate for the transparency and impartiality of the elections.

Meanwhile, Hawa Alam Nuristani, Head of the Independent Election Commission, said Women’s participation can underline transparency in elections, calling on all women to participate extensively in the presidential elections.
