Kandahar – At least five Taliban militants were killed in a clash with police forces members in South, local authorities said.
Kandahar Police Chief Gen. Tadin Khan said battle engulfed in Maiwand district in Band-e-Taimor area when the Taliban insurgents carried an attack over Afghan police forces.
According to Tadin Kahn, at least three police forces were killed and one further wounded in the battle.
Meanwhile, he added that three insurgents are also wounded.
Taliban has not commented on incident.
