Afghan president Mohammad Ashraf Ghani travelled to Nangarhar province today Feb. 10.
Provincial governor’s spokesman Attaullah Khogyani said they had well prepared to welcome the president.
According to Khogyani, the president would meet some elders of Shinwari district in Nangarhar to appreciate their sacrifices and courage in battling Daesh militants.
It comes after a clash where residents rose against Daesh insurgent protecting their residency in the province.
