COVID-19: Afghanistan Reports 13 New Infections

Health ministry in Afghanistan on Sunday (February 21) reported 13 new COVID-19 infections and no related death in the past 24 hours.

According to Afghan Public Health Ministry, no patient has died after contracting the covid-19 disease.

The toll of fatalities to stood at 2,432.

Also, as many as 13 new cases of infection were reported in the country, bringing the nationwide case count to 55,617.

The new infection cases were registered in Kabul, Herat, Nangarhar, Nimroz, Laghman and Nuristan provinces.

Some 48,834 patients have recovered from the virus since the outbreak first appeared in China entered the country.
