KABUL (The Killid Group) – Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan vowed to support upcoming presidential elections in Afghanistan, as he discusses peace and elections process with Afghan president Ashraf Ghani on a phone call Wednesday.
“President Ashraf Ghani received a phone call from Prime Minister Imran Khan of Pakistan last evening and discussed Afghanistan’s peace process and upcoming presidential elections.” said ARG in a tweet Thursday.
“Considering the precedence of Pakistan’s help in reduction of violence during past elections, President Ghani asked Pakistan to help mitigate violence in the upcoming elections,” ARG added.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed his condolence and sympathy over the latest terrorist attacks in Parwan and Kabul, and promised to put efforts in place within their capacity to help in holding the election.
