Mohmmad Omar Dawoozay, Head of Afghan High Peace Council, says the first phase of the Taliban and US negotiations on American troop withdrawal and release of the Taliban Prisoners came to an end. Now the next talk between the two will be in Doha.
Dawoodzay stressed that politicians and civil activists should be involved in next peace talks with the Taliban; and their attendance must be in coordination with Afghan government.
Dawoodzay said, to better facilitate the peace process with the Taliban and establishing a national consensus, the Consultative loya Jirga (grand assembly) will be soon held, in which red lines of Afghan peace talks with Taliban will be identified.
Dawoodzay further added to form the Loya Jirga, a non-governmental committee of 50 political and civil activists, of which 30 percent is women, has been formed.
This comes after women voiced out advocating their role in the peace process.
