Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Washington Saturday for a three-day official visit to the United States, marking the first ever meeting with Donald Trump.

Pakistani news agencies reported that Pakistan’s Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa would meet US Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan, the new chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen Mark Milley and other senior officials during his visit to the Pentagon.

According to the Dawn report, Khan will meet IMF chief David Lipton and his delegation on Sunday and will later have a similar meeting with the World Bank president.

Later in the evening, he will attend a community event at Washington’s Capital One Arena.

The Dawn report says that on Monday, Khan will arrive at the White House and after the book signing ceremony, he will attend two sessions: a small group meeting and an extended meeting.

The first meeting will be in the Oval Office and the second in the cabinet room, the report said.

Khan will also have a one-on-one meeting with President Trump.
