According to the European Union Council, 18 people from different countries, including Islamic Emirate officials sanctioned by the EU.
Acting ministers of Education and Justice and the head of the Islamic Emirates Supreme Court are also on the list of sanctioned persons, according to reports.
These people’s assets will be frozen in the European Union and they will not be allowed to travel to the member states of this Union, reports added.
The Islamic Emirate has not reacted so far, but it has repeatedly emphasized that women’s and girls’ education and work will be allowed after providing a suitable environment.
