The Ministry of Public Health has published a statement saying that this incident was reported from the Batikot district of Nangarhar province.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Public Health says that it will launch a sub-campaign for polio vaccination from Monday to Thursday of this week, in cooperation with international organizations in 23 provinces, in which 6.4 million children under the age of five will be vaccinated.
It should be mentioned that in 2022, two cases of polio were recorded in Paktika and Kunar provinces.
