On the occasion of the National Day of Journalists, this organization announced in a statement that the conditions for journalistic and media work in the country have become dire.
In the statement, referring to the recent explosion in Balkh, two journalists were killed and 16 others were injured.
This institution added that three journalists are currently in the custody of the Islamic Emirate.
However, Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, considered the activities of journalists to be important and said that the problems of journalists will be dealt with through the Media Violations Investigation Commission.
The 18th of March has been known as the National Day of Journalists since 1392 and is celebrated in the center and provinces.
