The European Union has recently sanctioned 32 individuals and two Iranian organizations, including the Iranian Minister of Culture and Guidance and the Minister of Education.
Nasser Kanaani, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, says that Iran will impose counter-sanctions in response to these sanctions.
At the same time, on Monday (20th February), the United Kingdom sanctioned eight Iranian people, including commanders and officials of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, due to human rights violations.
It should be noted that these sanctions were imposed after the demonstration of thousands of Iranians in the city of Brussels.
The protesters asked the European Union to include the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps in the list of terrorist organizations.
