Turkey’s Anatolia news agency, citing Yunus Sezer, has reported that more than 5,700 aftershocks have been recorded in the earthquake-affected areas.
On February 6th of this year, two earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.8 and 7.5 occurred in Kahramanmaras province of Turkey near the border with Syria.
According to official statistics, more than 5,800 people have been killed in Syria as a result of this earthquake.
