More than 10 Million People in Afghanistan Need Urgent Aid

Mawlawi Matiul Haq Khalis, the head of the Afghan Red Crescent, said this in a meeting with Alexander Mathieu and Nicefur Magandi, officials of the Asia Pacific region of the International Federation of Red Crescent and Red Cross Communities, in Afghanistan.

Khalis asked the international community that in order to prevent a humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan, political issues should not hinder humanitarian aid.

Officials of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Society have announced their support for the Afghan Red Crescent Society.

It should be mentioned that the Red Cross Committee helps the people of Afghanistan in various fields besides treating malnourished children.
