He said that banning women’s work in non-governmental offices harms the process of delivering humanitarian aid.
According to an announcement from the Ministry of Borders, Tribes, and Tribes, Potzel has shared his concern about restrictions on women’s work in Afghanistan in a meeting with Mullah Nurullah Noori, acting head of the ministry.
At the same time, Noori has said that the leadership of the Islamic Emirate is trying to solve these problems by considering the religious and cultural interests, along with providing facilities to the people.
On the other hand, Potzel met with Abdullah Abdullah, the head of the Supreme National Reconciliation Council of the previous government, and discussed the ban on women’s work and education.
Abdullah posted on Facebook, that in this meeting, they discussed the challenges that have arisen in the field of aid delivery, the blocking of transportation routes due to the recent snowfall, the increase in the economic problems of the people in the winter season, and the prevention of humanitarian crisis.
Markus Potzel has met with several officials of the current Afghan government in recent weeks, but the Islamic Emirate has not yet reconsidered the ban on women working in non-governmental offices.
