On Tuesday (18 October), a number of girls protested regarding the expulsion of several female students from Kabul University, and after that, Human Rights Watch expressed its concern regarding the safety of these girls.
Heather Barr, associate director of the Women’s Rights Division at Human Rights Watch, calls on the international community to support women and girls in Afghanistan.
This is while the international community has always emphasized respecting the rights of women and girls in Afghanistan.
But Bilal Karimi, the Deputy Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, told Killid that they provided security and safety for all citizens in the country.
Regarding the girls’ demonstration in front of the university, Karimi said that the university is a center of learning and not a place of disorder and chaos.
Karimi says that the girls were expelled from the dormitory of Kabul University based on the laws and regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education.
According to him, all citizens who have not committed any legal violations or crimes do not face any security problems.
