Vladimir Navrov during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly, said: “Uzbekistan is worried about decreasing the international community’s attention to Afghanistan”.
He emphasized that the international community should prioritize the revival of the economy, integration into regional economic trends, and funding of the infrastructure and important social projects in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, Navrov suggested that a special humanitarian support fund be created in Termez, Uzbekistan, to combat the crisis and launch educational programs in Afghanistan.
On the other hand, Farhan Bin Faisal, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, emphasized in this meeting that Afghanistan should not become a haven for terrorists and the international community should cooperate in this regard.
This is despite the fact that no representative of the Afghan government was present at the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
