On the First Anniversary of Ruling Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan; How Have Diplomatic Relations with Neighboring Countries Been?

Afghan experts say that the Islamic Emirate has made progress in interacting with a number of regional and neighboring countries, although it has not been recognized by any country since its establishment.

From their point of view, the relations that the Islamic Emirate has established in the political and economic fields with neighboring countries and a number of other countries such as Russia, China and Turkey are remarkable.

Najibullah Najib, international relations expert, says during the first year of ruling the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan, they have established some relations with a number of Asian countries specially with those who doesn’t have serious political relations with US, it has been successful to some extent, but at the global level, we do not see any progress.”

Meanwhile, some other experts say that the Islamic Emirate has been trying to show US and other countries that they have the ability to manage Afghanistan.

Jafar Yari, political affairs expert, says that the Islamic Emirate has tried to establish relations with the world without attracting experts, while there is a need for experts in this field a large number of Afghan elites have left the country.

Those who could effectively work in Afghan organizations and institutions have not been choose in the Islamic Emirate. We tried to get the opinion of the officials of the Islamic Emirate in this regard, but we did not reach a result but before this, Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Motaqi said in his speech that the embassies of many countries have been opened in Kabul and that the Islamic Emirate has good relations with the countries of the world.
