Tajikistan’s Electricity Company Complaint about Non-Payment of Electricity Cost by Afghanistan

Mohammad Omar Asuzadah, the head of Tajik Electricity Company, said in a press conference that Breshna Company is facing problems in transferring money to the banks of this country, so they can’t pay the balances on time.

He also added, Breshna Company transferred two million dollars to Tajik Company’s account last month.

It should be noted that Afghanistan imports most of its needed electricity from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Iran.
