The ministry of public health reported 324 new laboratory confirmed coronavirus cases within the past 24 hours, with 20 new deaths.
The additional 324 new COVID-19 cases pushed the country’s total to 29,481 while the total death was brought to 618 as new deaths recorded in the past 24 hours.
A total of 9,260 patients have recovered from the deadly disease after 419 patients got better within the last 24 hours.
Kabul, Herat, Balkh, Nangarhar, Kandahar and Paktia have the highest number of infections from the coronavirus pandemic.
