May 10 (The Killid Group) — In a Taliban attack in the northern Balkh province, four Afghan security forces were killed and seven others were missing.
Adel Shah Adel, a spokesman for the police chief in Balkh province confirmed to The Killid Group, saying the armed Taliban last night attacked a security outpost in Alam Khail village of the province.
The clashes which lasted for four hours, left four security forces killed and seven others missing.
The spokesman added that first the Taliban took the control of the outpost but later were driven back by additional Afghan security forces.
Officials also confirmed casualties to the armed group but didn’t provide details.
