HERAT (The Killid Group) – Officials of the National Directorate of Security arrested a deputy of ISIS Khorzsan bracnk in western province of Herat.
Jelani Farhad, spokesman for the Herat police, told the Killid, “this senior member of the ISIS (also Daesh or ISIL) militant group were arrested during an operation in Siyaoshan village of Gazra district on Tuesday.”
Officials did not provide details on the identity of the senior ISIS member, but said he traveled from Nangarhar province to carry terrorist attacks in Herat.
The arrest came at a time local resident raised concern over increasing number of Daesh militants in several districts of Herat province.
