Introduction

During one year The Killid Group has been focusing the state of democracy in Afghanistan.

This has included radio programs produced together with civil society youth and women activists throughout the country.

A special coverage was dedicated to understanding the structure of power in our country, for which several reporters travelled to districts and villages interviewing tens of people. The result of it are nine feature radio and print stories.

Moreover, an accountability and transparency campaign addressed to the new government was structured together with civil society organization based in the main Afghan cities. The campaign was implemented through public service announcements broadcast by Killid’s eleven radios.
