March 22 (The Killid Group) – Over 24 hours ten cases of infection by the novel coronavirus were recorded in  Afghanistan, the Afghan minister of public health, Ferozuddin Feruz said in a press conference on Sunday

Dr. Ferozuddin Feruz, the minister of public health said in a press conference on Sunday, March 22, that over the past 24 hours, ten more infection cases of the pandemic COVID-19 were recorded in Afghanistan, bringing the infection toll to 34 nationwide.

According to him, two cases of the virus were recorded in Kabul city and the rest ten cases in other provinces of the country.

The coronavirus, which first appeared in China, has spread to more than a hundred countries around the world, and so far, has killed thousands of people and endangered the lives of many others.

In Afghanistan, most infection cases were reported in the western province of Herat.
